How to Clean Your White Wrestling Shoes (Without Ruining Them)

Let’s face it, white wrestling shoes are not the easiest things to keep clean. One minute they’re sparkling white, and the next they’re a muddy mess. If you’re like most wrestlers, you’ve probably ruined a few pairs of shoes in your day. But don’t worry, we’re here to help. With a little elbow grease (and these helpful tips), you can keep your shoes looking good as new.

Method 1: Vinegar

Before we get started, there are a few things you’ll need:

– A toothbrush (or two)

– A Cleaning Cloth or Rag

– Shoe Cleaner or White Vinegar

– Water

-Optional: compressed air can or old toothbrush (for hard-to-reach places)

Now that you have everything you need, let’s get started.

Step 1:

Remove all dirt and debris from the surface of the shoe with a toothbrush or cleaning cloth. Pay special attention to the soles of the shoes, as this is where most of the dirt and grime will accumulate.

Step 2:

Make a 50/50 mixture of water and shoe cleaner (or white vinegar) and apply it to the shoes with a rag. Be sure to evenly coat the shoes, paying special attention to any areas that are particularly dirty.

Step 3:

Let the mixture sit on the shoes for 5-10 minutes so that it has a chance to work its magic.

Step 4:

Rinse the shoes with clean water and let them air dry.

Step 5:

Once the shoes are dry, use a toothbrush or compressed air can to remove any dirt or debris that may be hiding in cracks or crevices. And that’s it! With just a little bit of effort, you can keep your white wrestling shoes looking good as new.

Method 2: Magic Eraser

Using a magic eraser is a great way to clean white shoes, but it’s important to be careful. It’s easy to get carried away and use too much, which can make some materials (like leather) look worn or faded. With that in mind, here are the steps you’ll need to follow:

Step 1:

Remove all dirt and debris from the surface of the shoe with a toothbrush or cleaning cloth. Pay special attention to the soles of the shoes, as this is where most of the dirt and grime will accumulate.

Step 2:

Dampen a magic eraser with water and gently rub it against your shoes in small circular motions. Be careful not to apply too much pressure or scrub too hard, or you could end up damaging the material.

Step 3:

Once you’ve removed all of the dirt and debris, use a dry magic eraser to remove any remaining stains or spots.

Step 4:

Let your shoes air dry completely before wearing them.

While cleaning your shoes may not be fun, it’s worth it to keep them looking new. Whether you use a magic eraser or vinegar and water, these tips will help you get the job done quickly and easily. So what are you waiting for? Get cleaning!

Conclusion:

Keeping your white wrestling shoes clean may seem like an impossible task, but it doesn’t have to be. With these simple tips, you can keep your shoes looking great match after match. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start scrubbing!
