#1. Ecco Biom H4

Eco Biom

Personally I think these are the best golf shoes for walking you will find on the market if not the best golf shoes period.

The ECCO M GOLF BIOMĀ® H4 shoes are made to be both comfortable and high-performing. They use special technology to make sure they feel good and work well. The ECCO MTN GRIP outsole gives good grip and support in three different parts, and the midsole helps keep the shoe fitting well and stable. They are water proof and I found that they kept my socks from getting wet when playing in light rain. The soles of the shoes are designed with multiple innovative technology that provides cushioning for feet while being lightweight which is extra important if you are walking the course.

Pros

  • They are waterproof so you don't get soggy socks
  • Outsoles provide excellent grip and stability especially important for walking a course in bad conditions
  • The midsole and TPU inserts provide comfort so your feet feel great after a day on the course
  • Lightweight leather means they don't have that heavy feel that some brands have
  • Design looks very sleek and classy

Cons

  • The reason I put this at #1 is because I don't have cons to this shoe

#2. G/FORE MG4

g fore mg4

Introducing the MG4+ golf shoe, a modern take on a classic necessity that combines lightweight comfort and technical performance. With a fully waterproof, high abrasion-resistant exterior and 3D molded external heel cup, this shoe provides additional support and protection on the course. The washable, triple density foam cushion footbed and auxetic lattice midsole ensure rebound and all-day comfort. The shoe's fully padded mesh interior lining allows for breathability and comfort, and the 2-piece rubber non-slip outsole with a hybrid knurled and sawtooth traction pattern provides optimal traction. The MG4+ comes with an extra set of laces, and the removable antimicrobial cushion inserts are machine washable for easy care. For sizing, the MG4+ fits similar to the Gallivanter, but with a wider toe box. If you are between sizes, we suggest ordering up. The shoe is made of 98% TPU and 2% polyester, and is tour approved. It is also designed to inhibit odor and is waterproof, making it a superior choice for golfers.

The MG4+ in my experience is one of the top golf shoes for walking because of the look and feel. It molds to your foot right away which means less blisters breaking it in and is waterproof which prevents athletes foot. I think this is an absolute top tier product.

Pros

  • Waterproof which keeps your feet nice and dry in bad conditions
  • 3D molded external heel cup helps it feel like the shoe is broken in right away while supporting your ankle from injury
  • Breathability and materials prevent a build up of that sweaty foot smell
  • Great return policy

Cons

  • There are a few complaints about the sizing being off but I found they were true to size

#3. Adidas ZG23 - Wide Golf Shoes

Adidas ZG21

The ZG23 golf shoe offers an ultra-light platform that combines traction and stability, making it a reliable choice for golfers looking to improve their performance. Its hybrid adidas Lightstrike midsole, Sprintskin microfiber leather upper, and six-cleat Thintech outsole provide increased stability, all-day comfort, and a secure grounded feel. The wide fit and lace closure, along with the 3D stability wing in the Sprintskin and microfiber-leather upper, ensure a comfortable and secure fit. The INSITEĀ® sockliner and Hybrid Lightstrike Pro and Lightstrike cushioning provide added comfort, while the six-cleat Thintech TPU outsole offers optimal traction on the course. Additionally, the upper of the ZG23 golf shoe contains a minimum of 50% recycled content, making it a sustainable choice for environmentally conscious golfers. This shoe comes with a one-year waterproof protection guarantee.

This one is a great option for my wide foot golfers. This shoe is lightweight which makes it a great shoe for walking while playing golf. The thing I love is it comes with a one-year waterproof guarantee which means if it stops working it gets replace.

Pros

  • Great for people who have wide feet
  • One year waterproof guarantee
  • Great outsole grip that helps you feel grounded

Cons

  • The biggest con is that they are not super durable can get worn down quickly.

#4. Puma's Ignite

Puma's Ignite golf shoe

The IGNITE ELEVATE golf shoe offers comfortable support and stylish design. With EXOShell upper, TPU Film, and a 1-year waterproof warranty, it provides structure and reinforcement. The lightweight PWRCAGE TPU saddle ensures stability during your swing. The IGNITE Foam midsole delivers responsive comfort and cushioning, while the concentric traction pattern on the outsole provides reliable grip. Tee-it-up confidently with the IGNITE ELEVATE golf shoe for an elevated game.

Once again I love any product that puts a guarantee on their quality which Puma does with their 1 year waterproof warranty. Personally I don't mind golf shoes that don't have larger spikes and the concentric pattern of these shoes work fine without making walking feel awkward. For me this is a good quality golf shoe.

Pros

  • 1-year waterproof warranty
  • Lightweight means it's nice to walk around with them on
  • Comfortable foam that provides solid foot support

Cons

  • Some golfers fine the concentric pattern style doesn't give them the level of grip they want
  • Not the most breathable shoe on this list

#5. PWRAdapt

PWRAdapt Golf Shoes

The PWRCAGE saddle unit in the golf shoe wraps around the sides of the foot, providing proper fit and support. The Heel Lock Window cups the heel and secures the foot in place when laces are tightened. The Adaptive Fit System, including both an internal and external bootie, provides 360-degree support and extra reinforcement in high-wear areas. The IGNITE Foam cushioning platform and PWRADAPT Technology offer responsive comfort and traction that adapts to your movements. With more traction and comfort, the PWRADAPT golf shoe is a great choice for any golfer.

Pros

  • Improve grip and stability
  • Waterproof
  • Comfortable and supportive
  • Stylish design

Cons

  • Some golfers may find golf shoes uncomfortable or too restrictive, particularly if they're not used to wearing them.
  • Golf shoes can be heavier and less breathable than regular athletic shoes, which can be uncomfortable in hot weather.

#6. True links

True links golf shoes

The True Lux Pro golf shoe is another good choice for a stylish walking golf shoe. The premium leather upper is waterproof and durable, providing both comfort and refinement. The shoe features a WANDERLUX interior with a padded heel cup and super foam insert for added cushioning. It comes with a reusable LUX shoe/shag bag and has premium leather accents. The spikeless rubber tread offers aggressive grip, and the shoe has a generous natural fit for up to 2E width. The TRUE LUX Pro is a lightweight, versatile option for golfers who demand excellence.

Personally my favorite aspect of these is the style. True links shoes always look great but these ones are also waterproof which not all of their golf shoes are which makes them perfect for if you want to walk. If you are looking for a golf shoe and have the money to spend on style this is a great choice.

Pros

  • Lightweight structure helps with quick movement
  • They are very comfortable and their premium leather feels great
  • The spikeless rubber tread gives a great grip and is comfortable to walk with

Cons

  • This is a premium product and costs like one
  • These golf shoes are more focused on waterproof than breathability like other models

#7. Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour

Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour

The Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour golf shoe is designed for comfort and performance with increased volume, 2 Zoom Air units for better energy transfer, and added traction. It features breathable textile material, responsive cushioning, and optimal grip. Other benefits include Nike React technology and a gusset on the tongue for easier use.

The new Nike Air Zoom are much better than their older version. Not enough however to make them higher on this list. I don't love their style and I feel like Nike's sizing is always hit or miss. I think these are a fine option but for the price you can get something better.

Pros

  • Designed for comfort and performance
  • 2 Zoom Air units in the forefoot provide better energy transfer
  • Breathable textile material keeps your foot cool and provides support

Cons

  • Not my favorite design
  • Expensive

#8. Footjoy Pro SL

Footjoy Pro SL

The Pro|SL golf shoe is designed for optimal comfort and performance, with a Stratofoam midsole that offers a proprietary blend of materials to absorb shock and maximize energy return. The ChromoSkin leather is waterproof, lightweight, and durable, while the Infinity Outsole provides superior traction with 189 points of contact. The shoe also features an integrated Power Harness for stability and control during your swing, and the Laser Plus Last offers a comfortable fit with extra depth for enhanced cushioning.

I have personal beef with Footjoy I won a pair of custom shoes from them in a raffle and they dodged my emails for months until the offer expired. Don't get me wrong they are great shoes I'm just petty.

Pros

  • Stratofoam midsole for shock absorption and energy return
  • Waterproof ChromoSkin leather is lightweight and durable
  • Infinity Outsole provides superior traction with 189 points of contact
  • Integrated Power Harness for stability and control during your swing
  • Laser Plus Last offers a comfortable fit with extra depth for enhanced cushioning
